Job Summary

Utilize technical design expertise to implement the latest generation of cutting-edge casino games in partnership with other artists, software engineers, mathematicians, sound designers, project managers and producers.

Salary range : $40-$60k

Responsibilities

Act as a bridge between Art and Engineering to ensure smooth production flow.

Implement game content, including graphics, sounds, and animations in a game engine.

Review and test games to ensure game products conform to design and regulatory standards.

Support game development team by preparing, formatting, compressing, exporting, and laying out graphics.

Ensure final assets meet performance requirements for target platform through optimization and best practices.

Support games from the design to release phase, as well as ongoing support of games through various development milestones, including localizing game content into multiple languages for international release.

Creation of original art, animations, and game assets as needed.

Create compelling particle systems, shaders, and special effects to enhance the look and feel of the game in an optimized manner.

Qualifications Required

High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).

Problem solver with strong written and oral communication skills.

A solid design background, including graphic design, compositing, 3D Modeling and animation.

Some scripting experience is a plus.

Highly skilled in Unity.

Possess knowledge of current game art creation techniques, implementing real-time 2D and 3D graphics.

Knowledge of the gaming industry is helpful.

Software : Proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects, and Unity. Experience with Illustrator, Spine, or 3ds Max a plus.

Must be able to implement artwork in a timely manner with top quality craftsmanship, and work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Candidates must have excellent organizational skills and a high level of interpersonal skills.

Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer-oriented, very fast-paced, and demanding environment.

Ability to bring projects to completion with minimal supervision.

Must be able to meet or exceed set project milestones and deadlines, which will entail extra work time as needed (work hours beyond a normal work week).
