Description :
Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Senior Sales Account Manager with experience working in the freight forwarding industry to join their team.
This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.
Responsibilities Include :
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities in the logistics freight forwarding industry.
- Create and implement sales strategies for assigned accounts.
- Conduct detailed analysis of clients' needs and business goals to form customized logistics solutions that drive cost savings efficiently.
- Lead negotiations with executives, presenting solutions and demonstrating a strong ROI.
- Coach junior team members and provide ongoing account management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, supply chain management, international business, or a related field.
- 10 + years experience in sales, with at least 5 years in senior-level sales in the logistics freight forwarding industry (ocean, air, domestic logistics)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota.
- Ability to navigate negotiations and have a deep understanding of logistics.
- Proficient in CRM systems and must have excellent communication skills.
Hours & Benefits :
- M -F 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
- Up to 75% of travel
