Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Data Management and Analytics, this role will play a key role in collecting, organizing, managing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data for the School of Public Health's Innovation Research Networks (IRNs). This role contributes significantly to the strategic development of analytics and data strategy at the School of Public Health.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

• Collaborates with IRN co-directors and research personnel to identify data needs, conducts exploratory data analysis and appropriate statistical models, develops dashboards and reports. Reviews, manages, and analyzes data from various sources (primary and secondary data, interviews, focus groups, websites, publications, etc.), identifies trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing best practices, automated data quality testing, and data governance policies.
• Works closely with the Director, Data Management and Analytics, selects, configures and implements analytics solutions for the organization. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data analytics capabilities. Shares industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
• Supports the Office of Research Affairs and IRNs by contributing to funding proposals, reports, presentations, manuscripts etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
