Our clients are seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals in the Westland and Garden City areas for the 2025 / 2026 School Year, starting at $18 / hr depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill.

CLIENT'S SUMMARY OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Helps prepare, collect and set-up materials for student participation, following teacher direction
• Provides instructional, behavioral, or physical assistance to students individually or in small groups at the direction of the teacher to reinforce and follow up instruction
• Assists with large group activities as drill work, reading aloud, and storytelling
• Maintains daily activity logs for your assigned student (s)
• Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
• Serves as the chief source of information for the assigned students to help any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher
