Variable PRN / PT Schedule :  Must be available from 7 : 00a – 3pm Monday – Friday – rotating weekends and holidays.   Ability to work on Call required

Call :  Must be present / onsite within 30 minutes of call.  “on call rotation is shared equally among all staff perfusionist”.

Education –  Bachelors degree & Graduate of an accredited Perfusion Program required

Certification / License : Must have the following at time of hire / transfer -  Cert Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)  and Licensed Perfusionist (PERFUSIO) -  Texas Medical Board

Experience – 1 Years of intermediate level Perfusion experience. We’re seeking professionals with a desire to teach, train cardiology fellows, and share perfusion knowledge base with fellows, team members, and students during clinical rotations.

Job Summary

Provides patient care by operating extracorporeal circulation equipment during medical situations. Helps or replaces a person's cardiopulmonary, circulatory, or respiratory function. Selects the right equipment and techniques for treatment or measurement. Monitors, examines, and treats physiologic conditions safely under a physician's order and supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Cert Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)

Licensed Perfusionist (PERFUSIO)

Basic Life Support (BLS) : BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
