About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Risk Management Executive (CRO) to lead our risk management strategy and enhance the resilience of our organization. In this vital position, you will develop and refine our enterprise risk management framework, integrating various risk factors while aligning our risk strategy with our core objectives. You will oversee areas such as lending risk, asset management, investment risk, and operational and regulatory risk.

As a strategic advisor, you will advocate for a risk-aware culture and will actively participate in executive and leadership teams, reporting directly to the President and CEO. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent qualification being advantageous.

Applicants should have a minimum of 20 years of experience in credit, capital markets, enterprise risk management, compliance, and social impact analysis, including at least 5 years in a senior credit leadership role. A demonstrated track record in creating and implementing successful risk strategies, managing diverse loan portfolios, and ushering growth in commercial and real estate lending is essential.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and management skills are a must, as is a strong commitment to adhering to industry risk management practices and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will lead and develop the risk management team, fostering a culture of high performance and ensuring that team members receive ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
