Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Job Description:

-May order blood products, laboratory tests, radiological, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and neurological studies, oxygen therapy, respiratory treatment, and pulmonary tests.

-May perform drain and suture removal.

-May order and administer medications and IV therapy with the ability to assess and adjust appropriate dosing.

Required Work Experience: 2 years geriatric experience required

**Once candidate selected, may need to complete Hoag's internal screening as well. Can take 2-3 months.

Job Qualifications:

-Current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in California.

-BLS required.

-National board certification as Nurse Practitioner in area of specialty required.

-ACLS required.
