Program / Project Coordinator - Thoracic Surgery Department

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program / Project Coordinator to join our Thoracic Surgery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining schedules and agendas for various programs and projects, ensuring seamless communication and administration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and maintain program / project schedules and agendas, tracking deadlines and deliverables.
- Draft meeting minutes and other correspondence / communications with management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with departments, staff, leaders, and partners to ensure effective program / project administration.
- Prioritize and coordinate all featured events, outreach activities, meetings, and promotional materials.
- Compose routine business correspondence with attention to spelling, punctuation, and grammar, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and thorough documentation.
- Maintain the supervisor's calendar, schedule appointments and meetings, and make travel arrangements.
- Arrange department-hosted meetings, coordinating logistics, contacting attendees, and ensuring the provision of vital informative materials and equipment.
- Oversee and complete all necessary documentation and onboarding processes for research interns, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements while facilitating a smooth transition into their roles.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field highly preferred.Two years of experience coordinating and maintaining schedules and agendas for various programs and projects.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in scheduling software and office applications.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Cedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
