Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Scale Attendant to join the team at our Landfill in Bethlehem PA.

Schedule Monday through Friday 5 : 45 AM- 3 : 30 PM / Every other Saturday 6 : 45 AM to 12 : 00.

As a scale attendant with us the minimum responsibilities are :

• Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the transfer station.
• Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures.
• Calculate payments for customers.
• Closing duties include balancing cash drawer, as well as reconciling the credit card machine or POS system.
• Ensure incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.
• Approach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
