Position Overview :
The Branch Unit Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of daily branch operations while building strong client relationships and expanding market opportunities.Priority consideration shall be given to applicants with a functional industrial knowledge base and a networking portfolio in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), environmental tools, drones, or robotics. Candidates who may be ready to transition from related field execution roles to the rental and sales side of the industry could make a measurable impact in this opportunity. This position offers a unique opportunity for someone with established operations experience, leadership expertise and connections to step into a leadership role that directly influences growth and customer engagement. Youll have the ability toshape strategy, build a high-performing team, and expand MFEs presence in a rapidly evolving industry.
Responsibilities, not limited to :
- Oversee daily branch functions, including equipment rental, sales, repair, training, and calibration services.
- Manage inventory and ensure optimal equipment availability
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and internal policies
- Demonstrate strong ethics and integrity aligned with MFEs core values and culture. Drive growth by developing and executing strategic business plans
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients while identifying new market opportunities
- Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed regional sales goals
- Ensure clients receive top-tier service by resolving inquiries and issues efficiently
- Responsible for leveraging customer feedback to enhance positive experiences, service, and value
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technicians, sales reps, and support staff
- Conduct performance reviews and implement individual development plans
- Promote a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Create and manage the branch budget, ensuring profitability and financial health
- Analyze performance metrics and implement actions to improve efficiency and margin
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and collections to maintain cash flow accuracy
- Maintain exceptional quality standards in service delivery and equipment maintenance
- Implement quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and customer expectations
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in networking sales, operations, and an industrial environmentStrong direct proficiency in NDT, RVI, drones, robotics, or related inspection technologies is highly preferredExtensive portfolio and network of industry relationshipsthat can be leveraged to drive growth.Ability to transition from field expertise to rental / sales leadership, resulting in measurable business growth and development.Proven business development mindset with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrate a strong and proactive focus, strategic thinking, and positive team management skillsSolid knowledge of financial planning, P&L oversight, and project managementComfortable analyzing data and making informed, professional decisionsProficiency with business management software and toolsBenefits :
