Aircrew Training Support
RiverTech is looking for an Aircrew Training Support candidate to work at Charleston AFB to join our team of outstanding professionals.
Responsibilities
Builds, reviews, and updates student / permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions, associated major command (MAJCOM) Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
Coordinates scheduling of classes and exams as required. Coordinate with scheduling and external agencies to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for Crew Resource Management (CRM), Instructor Crew Resource Management (ICRM), Instrument Refresher Course (IRC), and all other grounding or pre-deployment training requirements.
Performs individual gradebook checks of squadron personnel operational and ancillary training requirements.
In coordination with the Squadron Director of Training (DOT) Flight Chief, prepares and executes periodic training / testing plans for approval and scheduling. Coordinates off-site training conferences / seminar attendance.
In coordination with the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, schedules members for required ground training events.
In coordination with the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, provides weekly updates to squadron leadership containing the flight and readiness status of personnel.
In coordination with the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, coordinate with scheduling office, enabling them to maximize training opportunities.
Provides daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor, as well as weekly summaries for the Operations Officer.
Under the guidance and direction of the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, assists in the development of new curricula and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
Updates data in Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or equivalent systems.
Interfaces with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) and Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems.
Generates the following reports / forms as required :
Provides monthly and quarterly inputs to the Operational Support Team (OST) for each quarter's training requirements.
Generates AF Form 2096s, Classification / On-the-Job Training Actions as needed.
Provides monthly and semi-annual non-mission-ready (NMR) letters for members to be placed in NMR status.
Assists with the monthly Squadron Training Review Panel (STRP) briefings for squadron leadership.
Generates Proration Consideration Reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (desired) :
Experience as a USAF aircrew member, or,
Experience working in a USAF Squadron, Group, or Wing training program, or,
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing training program, or,
Experience serving in a DoD flying unit training flight.
Experience working with GTIMS or similar proprietary training documentation program.
Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have excellent written, verbal communication and customer relations skills.
Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Applicable Operational Specialty Codes (not required) :
AFSC - 1C0XX, 1XXX-Operations; 1A0X1-Boom Operator, 1A1X1-Flight Engineer, 1A6X1-Flight Attendant and 1A2X1-Loadmaster, 2AX1.
USA MOS - 15.
USMC MOS - 60XX, 61XX, 62XX, 73XX, 75XX.
USN NEC D0XX, G5XX; 8235 / 8251 / 8251-Flight Engineer.
Other aircrew training specialty.
