American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Racine, Wisconsin.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least two years of ER experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department setting
  • Night shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Requires every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) coverage
  • May be required to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles
  • Uses Epic for electronic medical records
  • Primary responsibilities include providing emergency nursing care and responding to acute patient situations
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Teamwork and adaptability needed, as some floating to other units or locations may occur
  • Holiday coverage is rotated within the team
  • Local candidates are accepted but may be offered at a reduced rate depending on facility-specific distance rules
  • No COVID-19 vaccine requirement currently in place

    • Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room experience necessary
  • Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • TNCC certification required and must be kept current
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Nursys license verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
  • Copy of driver’s license and two professional references needed for consideration
