Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual situations encountered during patrols within the aerospace and defense environment. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and / or emergencies. Support site access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as needed, following all site protocols. Participate in ongoing training and briefings to remain current on security-related practices and requirements for the location. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
