JOB DESCRIPTION

TMZ is seeking a Senior Web Producer to lead and manage our Web Edit team. The ideal candidate will be a pop culture enthusiast with the ability to identify newsworthy video content from a variety of sources, including YouTube, TV, Podcasts, and Social. As Senior Web Producer you will be responsible for producing and creating compelling video content for TMZ’s website and social platforms. This role requires a creative self-starter with exceptional editorial judgment and a knack for storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead Web Edit team, providing content for TMZ’s web and social platforms
• Identifying, pitching, and developing compelling stories
• Sourcing and verifying video assets
• Collaborate closely with News, Sports and Production teams
• Providing videos for distribution to affiliates and other outlets

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $85,000.00-95,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
