Overview :
- Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors.
- Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications :
- Education : High School Diploma
- 18 years of age or older
- Licensure : Valid State drivers license-
- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety / Security licensure as required (within 30 days of hire)
- Experience : Passing score on Functional Job Screening
- Certification / Registration : Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety / Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure)
- Other Skills and Knowledge : Ability to read and write the English language
Preferred Qualifications
- Education : College degree
- Licensure : Valid local, state or federal Public Safety / Security licensure as required
- Experience : Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
