Job Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment

Location : Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois nursing jobs)

Unit : Labor and Delivery

Position Type : Travel Nursing

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend, no call

Hours per Week : 36

Assignment Duration : 18 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 3 / 8 / 2026)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,200 – $2,360

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois healthcare jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages

Monitor and document maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor and delivery process

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices

Respond promptly to emergencies, including providing neonatal resuscitation as needed

Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment for mothers, newborns, and staff
