Software Applications Developer

TechConnect is currently looking for a Software Application Developer for an industry leading organization in Tulsa, OK. Our client is seeking an individual with 5 or more years of experience working in development technologies with a proven track record analyzing and researching application issues, providing remediation efforts, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining high quality application programs for the organization.

As a Software Application Developer you will serve as a lead and focus on implementing and continually enhancing business applications utilizing a broad range of development tools and technologies.

You need to be well versed in Microsoft .Net 4.0+, C#, ASP.Net MVC 4+, EF, LINQ, IIS, MS SQL Server 2012+, HTML5 / CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and UI / UX design.

You will prepare detailed technical specifications for programs to be written. You will provide remediation recommendations that will support production document imaging and workflow solutions.

You will contribute to dev project plans, time lines, provide estimates for planned work and execute on schedule. You will work with users and other IT professionals to discuss and resolve issues with programs.

You will update the development schedule and proactively communicate issues or constraints to your customers.

Job Qualifications, Requirements & Skills

BS / BA in a technical field such as, Computer Science, Engineering or an IT related discipline and / or 5+ years of software development experience.

A focus on the Microsoft technology stack is highly desired for this position.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (specific dev experience w / web services and workflow WCF).
• Experience with RESTful services (both dev and consumption exp. preferred, w / an emphasis on Swagger services).
• Understanding of project and configuration management practices with a high attention to detail and software quality.
• Experience balancing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Experience with source code versioning and change management practices utilizing Git, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and / or VSTS.
• Experience with PowerShell, database design and modeling.
• Highly desired experience working with .Net Core., TFS and SharePoint development / administration, experience and understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• May be responsible for performance and coaching of staff, may participate in decisions regarding talent selection, development and performance management for direct reports.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Team player with a focus on collaboration and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.

Work Situation, Environment & Travel

• Hybrid Schedule : Tuesday and Thursday in the Tulsa, OK office. The other 3 days’ work from home.
• Laid-back environment, very collaborative, team oriented. Hired individuals need to have good composure with the ability to handle pressure at times.

Must be good with hitting goals and milestones. Will work with all levels of management and team members.

Travel : Minimal, if any.
