Associate Manager, Marketing Operations
The Associate Manager, Marketing Operations is a key member of the Marketing team who will partner closely with marketing colleagues and external agencies to manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing team. This role will promote and create efficiencies and streamlined processes. The person in this role will have a strong appreciation for creation of processes and efficiencies as well as measurement of said efficiencies and optimizations. They will be detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have superior communication and organization skills, and be capable of effectively managing many projects at the same time. This role requires high collaboration across not just the marketing team, but also external agencies, sales, compliance, medical and regulatory.
Responsibilities include managing vendor relationships and backend onboarding and payments for external partners, serving across all brands to develop and fulfill content, collateral and campaign assets ensuring effective campaign delivery, assisting in managing materials through legal and regulatory review process, defining and driving current processes and creating new processes to ensure an efficient operation for the marketing team, helping develop and maintain the Xeris Marketing Capability Model, onboarding / transitioning new hires / transfers for marketing capabilities, driving cross-functional project management, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives by managing timelines, stakeholders, resources, and status updates, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure that new processes are implemented and integrated with marketing operation tools, helping to increase project speed while maintaining quality and adherence to compliance rules and regulations, maintaining and managing project management tools for adoption across the marketing team, supporting the management of the Marketing Department's budget and vendors, managing the end-to-end process for print marketing collateral, leading / participating in additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or other relevant field of study, a minimum of 3 years of marketing operations experience, preferably in a related industry such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a great deal of autonomy, understanding of FDA regulations and guidance regarding advertising and promotion of highly regulated products or services, strong proficiency with Veeva PromoMats, Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis in Excel, and project management tools, ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, stakeholders and vendors, ability to plan and organize work and self in order to achieve objectives and targets, has a flexible approach to change, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, constantly seeks improvements and is forward looking, competencies : project management skills, highly motivated, self-starter, adaptability, attention to detail, teamwork & collaboration, strong writing skills, organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, analytical skills, written and verbal communications.
Working Conditions : Position may require periodic evening and weekend work, as necessary to fulfill obligations. Periodic overnight travel approximately 25% anticipated. This is a hybrid role based in Xeris' Chicago office and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office. On-site requirement may change at management's discretion.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000. Final determination of base salary offered will depend on several factors relevant to the position, including but not limited to candidate skills, experience, education, market location, and business need. This role will include eligibility for bonus and equity. The total compensation package will also include additional elements such as multiple paid time off benefits, various health insurance options, retirement benefits and more.
