Desktop Specialist
Description
User support - fielding support calls, diagnosis of the problem, suggested resolution and escalation if needed.
Support of phones, networks, PCs and applications.
Facilities management.
Day-to-day support of our regional office desktop and laptop computing environments.
Maintain inventory of the company's hardware and software.
Works closely with other teams as needed to establish and ensure proper issuance, return and security of company desktop and laptop PCs and their associated peripherals.
Requirements
College or further education preferred.
1 year experience in a Desktop Support role.
Working knowledge of TCP / IP, T-1s, Frame Relay and DSL.
Experience in establishing, setting, and enforcing strong procedures.
