Northrop Grumman is looking for a Electrical Engineer to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Responsibilities :

• The selected candidate will work in a team environment within the Vehicle Engineering IPT and his / her roles and responsibilities include :
• Support electrical wiring team group with their design needs, support manufacturing with wiring integration, route cable / wiring harness in 3D environment in accordance with NG Standard and MIL-W-5088 or AS50881, design and release cable / wiring installation.
• You will be a member of a multi-disciplined team in the Vehicle Engineering Department.
• You will be working with a team of engineers coordinating with multiple disciplines to determine solutions to problems quickly and efficiently. Basic Qualifications for Electrical Engineer 3 :
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 4-5 years of experience in electrical cable / wiring harness routing on military and / or commercial aircraft, OR
• Master’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience in electrical cable / wiring harness routing on military and / or commercial aircraft.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. But it is not required to start.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal direction.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project, Visio).
• Proficiency in technical communication, both written and verbal, is crucial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a team are often necessary. Preferred Qualifications for Electrical Engineer 3 :
• STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical).
• Solid modeling design skills (i.e., NX Siemens, Team Center Enterprise (TcE), CATIA, Solid Works).
• Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with designing and integrating components into larger systems.
