Position Details
Summary Operating Title Coordinator of Global Education Long Classification Title International Compliance Officer Campus Location Keene Department KSC Global Education Office Summary of Position Keene State College invites applications for a Coordinator of Global Education to lead operations of the self-supporting Global Education Office (GEO).
- The Coordinator provides direction for GEO; facilitates national and international exchanges and agreements with partner universities and programs;
- promotes and oversees study abroad participation; assists with the development of faculty led short-term trips; supports international students on campus with visas and cross-cultural orientation and adjustment;
- oversees visa and other immigration issues for incoming F-1 and J-1 students; serves as a Designated School Official (PDSO) for immigration advising;
manages the GEO budget and finances as a self-funded office; and strengthens GEO links with the College’s academic and administrative units to ensure the department’s integration with the College’s academic and developmental priorities.

- minimum of three years related experience; experience in developing and sustaining international programs in higher education;
- experience with SEVIS, and knowledge of DHS regulations and recent updates in immigration laws pertaining to international students and faculty;
and experience working, living, and / or studying abroad. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and budget management skills.
Federal regulations require that the director be a US citizen or legal permanent resident. Some international travel may be required.
