Qualifications :
- B.S. or M.S. in Bio-engineering, Bio-medical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a related discipline preferably with a background in instrumentation development with min 2+ years experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, electro-mechanical integration and troubleshooting skills are a must, familiarity with working with microfluidics is a plus.
- Programming experience with python required, C++ a plus
- Understanding of DNA manipulation techniques and sequencing methodologies a plus
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent written and electronic record keeping skills
DNA Sequencing is not needed but the person needs to have an understanding - basics of it.
Bio-engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry is needed
