CERTIFIED CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR
We are looking for a DOTD Certified Construction Inspectors to join our team in the Shreveport, LA area. The right candidate will have a background in the field, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
The Construction Inspector is to monitor daily on-site quality assurance, construction progress and prepare daily quality assurance reports to streets, highways, bridge, drainage and other utilities projects.
Requirements :
- High School diploma with 5+ years experience in construction projects
- LADOTD certifications including Structural Concrete and Embankment Required. (OUT OF STATE DOTD CERTS MAY BE ACCEPTABLE TO LADOTD)
- Asphalt Paving, PCC Paving and Base Course are preferable.
- Computer skills include Microsoft Office Software including MS Word and MS Excel
- Work with architects, contractors, and engineers on a daily basis.
- Communication Skills both oral and written in English
- Ability to read and comprehend civil engineering drawings and specifications
