JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for analyzing collections data, identifying trends, and developing data-driven strategies to enhance recovery efforts and mitigate risk exposure. This position monitors portfolio performance, optimizes collection strategies, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and compliance. Advanced analytics are leveraged to support decision-making, improve processes, and ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Analyze collections data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop and refine collection strategies to optimize recovery and reduce charge-offs.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau) to provide actionable insights.
• Monitor and assess portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and overall risk exposure.
• Collaborate with collections teams to implement data-driven decision-making processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis on payment defaults and recommend proactive solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies in all collections activities.
• Create reports and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with risk management and compliance teams to assess and mitigate operational risks.
• Assist in developing and refining predictive models for default risk and customer repayment behavior.
• Support automation and technology initiatives to enhance efficiency in collections operations.
• Develop and maintain performance tracking dashboards to provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations and risk teams.
• Evaluate diverse data sources, including credit bureau data, customer behavior insights, and alternative datasets, to enhance collection strategies.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in collections and risk management.
