Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift CNC Machinist for a large valve manufacturing company based in Costa Mesa, CA. This role offers a start time of 4am or 5am, with 9-hour workdays and the opportunity for overtime on Saturdays. Pay is flexible and commensurate with experience, typically ranging from $20 to $40 per hour. We welcome entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust program / offsets on CNC multi-task vertical machining center according to engineering specifications, production drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Check work in process for adherence to quality and production standards.
• Change settings for various production runs as needed.
• Obtain and return work supplies from the tool crib.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment operating conditions.
• Use hand tools as required.
• Complete accurate production and work records.
• Deburr parts in completing production work as necessary.
• Operate jib crane and bridge crane to load and unload parts.
• Familiarity with hitching and rigging equipment and their use.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00 / yr.
