Job Title : 2nd Shift CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

A dynamic machine shop specializing in custom gears, machined parts, and assembly for various industries including aerospace, defense, medical, commercial oil, power, and automotive is looking for a skilled setup machinist in Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and verify part dimensions using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Accurately utilize measuring tools and follow necessary company procedures relevant to the position.
• Perform in-process inspection of machined parts to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Supervisor and Quality Department to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and proven problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and air-conditioned machine shop with approximately 50 employees. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2 pm to 12 : 30 am, following a 4 / 10 work schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $35.00 / hr.
