Shift : 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Required Skills / Experience : \nIV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood product administration, Central line care / management, PICC line management, Assist with chest tube insertion / removal, Care of ventilated patient, Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), Ventilator management, Central venous pressure monitoring (CVP), Epicardial pacing wire care and management, Impella, Intra-aortic balloon pump, Emergency medications, Titrate cardiac drips, Titrate vasoactive drips, Hypothermia protocol / Arctic Sun, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG / ECG, Obtaining EKG

Preferred Skills : \nCardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit, Continuous IV sedation, Hypothermia protocol / Arctic Sun

\n\n

Preferred Skills / Experience : CVICU nurse preferred. If there are ICU candidates with cardiac device experience- impella, balloon pump, TVP this would work as well

\n\n

Required Credentials : References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Unit / Facility Details :

\n\n

Parking Cost : parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation

\n\n

Shift & Scheduling : Will work every other weekend.

\n\n

Pre-Approved Time Off : \n2 Requests

\n\n

Floating Requirements : Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital / s near by

\n\n

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays : 11 / 27 / 2025, 12 / 25 / 2025, 01 / 01 / 2026. Number of holidays allowed off : 1

\n\n

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required after submission

\n\n

1 reference from any number of months (Charge / Lead reference type) - required after submission
