Core Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual milling and surface grinding machines to build, fit, and refurbish tools and dies.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and setup sheets to determine workholding, tools, and process steps.
• Conduct precise inspections using calibrated instruments to validate dimensions and finishes.
• Diagnose and repair tooling issues to maximize quality and machine uptime.
• Collaborate with engineers and shop leads to refine tooling and production processes.
• Maintain a safe, organized (5S) work area and complete required documentation.
