Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in international education, international relations or a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama.
Must be willing to travel internationally extensively. Excellent oral presentation, writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English / Spanish is preferred.

Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position. Essential Functions
- Serves as an international student recruiter for the University of South Alabama.
- Attends various meetings, events, college fairs and other functions which requires international and domestic travel.
- Maximizes recruitment resources through both in-person and virtual presentations.
- Assists with targeting qualified individual prospective degree-seeking international students.
- Collaborates with the Director and / or Assistant Director to implement recruitment portions of the institution’s International Student Enrollment and Retention plan through contact with prospective international students, educational agencies, and other global partners.
- Utilizes the USA Banner system and CRM program (Slate) to access student information.
- Corresponds in a professional manner with prospective students, international partners, and counselors.
- Oversees student workers as required.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
- Related duties as required.
