Overview
We are seeking an experienced Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Coordinator to support a large, high-performing residency and fellowship program. This role is ideal for an organized, tech-savvy, and relationship-driven professional who thrives in an academic clinical environment and enjoys balancing complex scheduling, trainee support, and data-informed program operations.
You will coordinate electives for 200+ residents across multiple subspecialty divisions, manage evaluation processes, support the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC), and help advance innovative approaches to educational operations—including AI-supported dashboards and workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
Resident & Fellow Coordination
- Manage elective scheduling for 200+ residents across subspecialty divisions.
- Support residents and fellows in research, scholarly activity tracking, and educational fund reimbursements.
- Serve as a liaison for trainees and faculty, ensuring smooth communication and program compliance.
Program Operations & Compliance
Oversee evaluation systems for inpatient, outpatient, and elective rotations.Coordinate and support Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) meetings, including data capture, dashboard development, and competency reporting.Ensure alignment with ACGME requirements and accreditation standards.Technology, Data, & Process Improvement
Maintain and enhance AI-supported dashboards used for trainee progress assessment.Identify opportunities for workflow automation and operational innovation.Support tech-driven administrative processes; no advanced coding skills required, but comfort with data tools and informatics is essential.Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with faculty, residents, fellows, and administrative leaders.Understand and navigate diverse stakeholder priorities and power dynamics.Exercise strong judgment in prioritization and escalation.Qualifications
3–7 years of experience in GME, medical education administration, academic clinical operations, or a related setting.Prior experience within residency or fellowship coordination strongly preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with trainees and faculty.High proficiency with technology, data systems, and dashboard-based reporting.Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
