Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes, and electrical systems at the site. This role involves working with high-level electrical equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in troubleshooting and repairing electrical / electronic controls for machine operations, with an understanding of components such as Servo Motors, Stepper Motors, Encoders, Resolvers, Proximity Switches, Reed Switches, AC Variable Frequency Drives, and DC Motor Drives. Some welding or machining skills will be required.

Must Haves

• 3+ years of electrical experience working on PLCs.
• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machines.
• Competence in utilizing calibrated precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse facility. The position follows a first-shift schedule from 5 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime required on Fridays. Professional conduct is expected at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conroe, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00 / hr.
