Housekeeper

The Jones Center / Jones Trust are seeking qualified, bright, smiling faces to join our team. In this fast-paced position, you will be responsible for creating a positive impression of The Jones Center creating a clean and safe environment in our facilities / housekeeping staff report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager. Housekeeping staff members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas, handling cleaning supplies, operating equipment, and creating a safe environment for patrons and staff.

Responsibilities include :

• Maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Handling cleaning supplies and operating equipment in safe manner
• Creating a safe environment for patrons and staff
• You must be able to adapt to the changing needs of the facility in order to maintain cleanliness.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to reach arms above head, bend and twist as needed during normal cleaning duties.

1 year janitorial experience preferred. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
