Base pay range

$120,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr

DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Global Industrial Manufacturing Organization who is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join their Capital Projects and Facilities Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the design and implementation of innovative electrical power systems that support the deployment of new technologies across our global operations. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of their manufacturing and R&D infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement medium and low voltage electrical power systems for facility expansions, equipment installations, and greenfield projects.
  • Lead project scoping, cost modeling, scheduling, and execution from concept through commissioning and turnover.
  • Conduct failure analysis, root cause investigations, and provide technical guidance for troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Perform short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies to ensure system safety and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during all project phases including design, fabrication, integration, testing, and start-up.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the power systems or industrial electrical engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of transformers, switchgear, UPS, ATS, and industrial control panels.
  • Proficiency with solid-state components (SCRs, IGBTs, etc.).
  • Experience with electrical system analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FAT / SAT, failure analysis, and high-power industrial control systems.
  • Familiarity with standards such as NFPA 70B, NFPA 79, IEC 60204-1, IEEE 493, NETA ATS / MTS.
  • Knowledge of power system reliability modeling and maintenance strategies.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain one.
