The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs are each seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our efforts in training the next generation of Utah social workers! In the role of Associate Field Director, you will work closely with the BSW and / or MSW Field Education Director to manage field placements for social work students, ensuring they gain the necessary practice to meet Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) competencies across all system levels (individual, families, groups, organizations, and communities). The Associate Field Director trains and supervises Field Placement Supervisors, monitors the supervision of students, implements student safety protocols in field placements, and ensures compliance with CSWE Accreditation requirements. The Associate Field Director will mentor students in the fundamental dimensions of professional social work, including thinking, performing, and practicing social work intentionally, ethically, and with integrity. The Associate Field Director exemplifies expert social work practice, including models and theories of client engagement, assessment, intervention, and evaluation of practice, as well as the social work profession's ethical principles and standards. The Associate Field Director is assigned selected Field Practicum courses and Field Seminar courses as part of their roles and responsibilities.

Summary of Responsibilities
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications :
Required : Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Preferred : Clinical social work practice experience; BSW social work practice experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge : Knowledge of social work models and theories of client engagement, assessment, intervention, and evaluation of practice. National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics. Council on Social Work Education accreditation standards relevant for field education. BSW / MSW curriculum.
Skills : Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Skilled in managing data. Skilled in professional social work practice. Skilled in conflict resolution.
Abilities : Ability to learn computer software and applications relevant to the position, particularly the MS Office Suite. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with field agency personnel, students, and faculty. Ability to work proactively and cooperatively with the BSW / MSW Field Education Director.
