Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Endoscopy Tech / Certified Nurse Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant / Certified Scrub Tech to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY : Assists the physician with endoscopic procedures and related testing according to the doctors preferred routine. Performs endoscope reprocessing and troubleshooting; cleans, maintains and orders supplies and equipment. Admit / Recovery tasks as delegated. Facilitates and demonstrates cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors at all times.

Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.

Qualifications

Education / Certification : Current nursing assistant certification or a degree / certification in medical assisting or scrub technician. Current BLS certification required.

Experience : Experience in endoscopy procedures including procedural assisting and disinfection / sterilization preferred.

Equipment / Technology : Basic computer knowledge. Operation of endoscopy scopes, equipment & endoscope reprocessing units (scope washers).

Language / Communication : Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Mathematical Skills : Basic

Mental Capabilities : Can frequently and consistently make sound judgments under time constraints.

Interpersonal : Ability to work well with others.

Performance : Can work well under pressure.
