Starting Base Salary : $55-80K

Summary

We are currently looking for an estimator with experience in the retail fixture and / or casework industry. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and to prioritize and complete multiple projects independently with strong communication skills. Previous experience with estimating, programming CNC equipment or drafting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and update technical drawings for metal-parts manufacturing in AutoCAD or other computer aided design software

Work with sales, engineering and production staff to produce parts that meet customer specifications

Assist in troubleshooting issues that may arise during the fabrication or assembly process

Create and update machine programs to be used to cut parts

Coordinate with other teams to ensure the model is correct

Create models out of rough sketches

Requirements

Knowledge of necessary regulations

Very detail oriented with very solid mathematical skills

Associates in drafting or 2-5 years relevant experience

Great time management skills & ability to work on your own

Inventor, AutoCad, or other 3D drafting software experience

Ability to problem solve & stay organized, while juggling multiple projects at once
