FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - INDOOR CYCLING INSTRUCTOR

CLOSING DATE : Open until Filled

PAY RATE : $23.84 - $28.61 / class (Depending on experience)

SCHEDULE : To be discussed during the interview

DEPARTMENT : Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

  • Leading high-energy indoor cycling classes.
  • Motivating participants to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Create and implement engaging workout routines while being able to adapt routines for different fitness levels, create playlists, provide guidance on proper form and safety, and foster a positive and supportive environment, maintaining a clean and organized workout space and taking attendance.
  • Must be willing to be available to sub other shifts, attend required meetings, and mandatory training courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be certified through AFAA, NASM, ACE, or another nationally accredited indoor cycling agency.
  • Must be certified in CPR and first aid.
  • Ability to interact well with members.
  • Ability to get along with other staff members.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and providing good customer service.

    • Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
