Job Summary
Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) and Salt Lake Technical College (SLTech) are seeking a dynamic and student-centered faculty member to deliver classroom and lab instruction in a competency-based, open-entry environment. The position focuses on preparing students for industry certifications and meaningful employment through high-impact, hands-on learning in subject areas including desktop support, networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, scripting, and Linux .
Faculty members are expected to be reflective practitioners , actively engaged in instructional innovation, curriculum development, student advising, and community and industry engagement. This position involves collaboration, leadership, and service across the college and broader community to ensure students succeed in a diverse and evolving technical landscape.
Priority Review Date : October 15, 2025 Applications received by this date will have first consideration. Applications after this date will be reviewed on a need-by-need basis until a candidate is selected for hire.
Selected finalist will be required to participate in a teaching demonstration and will be asked to provide recommendation letters.
SLCC HR Dept will conduct criminal background check on the selected finalist.
