Treatment Coordinator

Allatoona Family Dental

The restorative Treatment Coordinator is a professional, organized, reliable, team player who plays a vital role in the practice ensuring patients get and stay healthy.

Location : Cartersville, Georgia

Job Type : Full-Time

Compensation :

$23-25, Based on Experience

Responsbilities :

  • Primary responsibility is to keep the restorative schedule full. Keep a current unscheduled and an ASAP list (short call list) of patients who would like an appointment sooner than their currently scheduled appointment
  • Present and educate the patients about their treatment plan, after the dentist has diagnosed and reviewed the treatment with a patient
  • Promote "Same Day Dentistry" to every patient
  • Determine insurance benefits that apply to treatment plans and estimate patient co-pay amounts
  • Assist patients with dental insurance; present fees and give estimates of treatment
  • Check out restorative patients not doing same day dentistry but making sure they have scheduled an appointment
  • Ensure all fax requests are processed or handed off to the responsible party
  • Verify all patient's insurance coverage information, including amounts of coverage for week assigned
  • Maintain your email day / sheet day as assigned
  • Provide Doctor's with an evening call list
  • Keep the restorative schedule booked to goal
  • Maintain hygiene treatment schedule sheet daily

    • Qualifications :

  • 2 Years of Experience (Preferrable)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Dental Office Experience (Preferrable)
  • Highly Organized
  • Attention to Detail
