PeaceHealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures (Cath Lab) to join our dedicated team in Springfield, Oregon. Competitive salary range : $49.96 - $74.61 / hour. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

What You'll Do
As a Cath Lab Technologist , you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and interventional care. Your responsibilities include :
Performing angiographic and cardiac catheterization procedures
Administering contrast agents under physician direction
Evaluating images for technical quality and optimizing exams using patient history and prior studies
Applying radiation safety principles and initiating life support measures when needed
Preparing exam rooms and equipment to meet physician and patient needs
Educating patients before and after procedures
Collaborating with physicians and team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
What You Bring
Education & Credentials :
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT eligibility or ARRT-R
Registered with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI). Recent graduates of an accredited education program that provides eligibility to sit for the ARRT-R exam, may be employed for up to 6 months under a temporary OBMI license. Those graduates will have a six-month grace period in which to pass the ARRT-R exam and receive their OBMI license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) - required upon hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - required within 6 months
Experience & Skills :
Prior experience in general imaging preferred
Strong knowledge of radiologic principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Ability to adapt exams to patient needs and resolve care-related challenges
PACS / RIS proficiency (ImageCast / CareCast experience preferred)
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
