A global leader in digital commerce experience and POS technology is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer III (Manual Tester) with deep expertise in POS systems and payment processing. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with manual testing, advanced proficiency in tools like PractiTest and JIRA, and the ability to contribute to cross-functional teams in developing solution-based test plans. This role requires a strong understanding of QA processes, procedures, and standards, and the ability to drive QA best practices in Agile environments. Key responsibilities include :
Design, execute, and maintain advanced manual test cases for POS systems and payment workflows.Ensure stakeholder feedback is captured and reflected in test strategies and execution.Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on POS hardware and software.Validate payment gateway integrations, transaction flows, and edge cases including EMV, NFC, and contactless payments.Log and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.Use PractiTest for test case management, traceability, and reporting.Contribute to test strategy discussions, ensuring risk-based coverage and alignment with business goals.Provide clear, actionable test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices.Drive QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
