This is a hybrid position and is required to work onsite in Sacramento Tuesday and Wednesday.Job Description :
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Master's: Computer Science, Statistics, Medical Informatics, Mathematics, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Experience designing, implementing, and testing automated data analysis systems.
Proven ability to rationalize disparate data sources and the ability to intuit the insight from within a dataset.
Understanding and implementation of predictive / analytical / statistical modeling techniques, theories, principles, and practices.
Familiarity and experience with data preparation and processing – such as assessment of data quality, new variable creation/selection, etc.
able to interact with technical experts and leaders at all levels within the organization.
Self-starter, able to independently identify and complete critical tasks with minimal supervision, complex data, and dynamic goals.
Verbal and written communication skills are an absolute requirement.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and deliver on multiple projects concurrently.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to mentor other data scientists working on common projects.
Knowledge of healthcare clinical care and business processes.

Pay Range is $62.95 to $94.43 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
