Key Responsibilities
Land Acquisition & Feasibility
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate potential sites for restaurant expansion and development.
Conduct feasibility studies including zoning, environmental, and infrastructure assessments.
Collaborate with real estate brokers, surveyors, and engineers to analyze property potential.
Project Management
Oversee project lifecycle from initial site selection to restaurant opening.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
Manage consultants, contractors, and design professionals to ensure quality and timely completion.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including finance, construction, operations, and legal teams.
Permitting & Entitlement
Lead entitlement and permitting processes across multiple jurisdictions.
Review and approve construction and development documents to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Liaise with government agencies, community representatives, and environmental authorities.
Budget & Cost Control
Prepare cost estimates, forecasts, and capital expenditure reports.
Monitor project budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage change orders.
Ensure adherence to financial targets and timely project delivery.
Team Collaboration & Reporting
Provide regular updates to executive leadership on project progress and key milestones.
Mentor junior project managers or coordinators, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and project close-out deliverables.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, or a related field (Masters preferred).
Experience : Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in land development, project management, or commercial construction preferably in restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors.
Technical Skills :
Strong proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and project management software.
Deep understanding of zoning, permitting, and land entitlement processes.
Familiarity with environmental assessments and due diligence requirements.
Soft Skills :
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strategic thinker with a results-driven and detail-oriented approach.
Requirements
Must reside within the United States.
Must possess U.S. citizenship or valid U.S. work authorization (Green Card, EAD, etc.).
