Description :

This is a 18-bed medical-surgical unit.

There are 13 RNs, 5 LPNs, and 25 PCTs on staff.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5-6 : 1.

Typical procedures performed include :

Assisting with bedside lumbar punctures.

Central line dressing changes.

Tube feedings and wound care.

Foley catheter insertion.

The ideal candidate should be outgoing and a team player.

They should possess strong communication skills and neuro assessment abilities.
