As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will act as a subject matter expert in Cybersecurity, providing architectural guidance across various technical departments and teams within Blackbaud.

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of offering technical security consultation and architectural advice on cloud security (Azure / AWS), identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), Active Directory, data protection, logging, and other cybersecurity capabilities.

What You'll Do :

Collaborate with Cybersecurity capability leaders and other technical teams to gather requirements and develop technical solution architectures that securely facilitate the desired business capability.

Demonstrate advanced knowledge in designing and / or implementing secure cloud environments through cloud identities, software-defined and borderless networks, serverless, container, and composable architectures, etc.

Formulate strategies that are secure by design and align with the company’s policies and standards.

Carry out proof of concept activities with key business users to support advanced use cases.

Create and develop reference architectures, security patterns, and anti-patterns that can be utilized for scalable and decentralized deployments across on-premises and multi-cloud hybrid environments.

Evaluate and assess new third-party solutions and their integration with Blackbaud systems to ensure the organization’s security posture is not exposed to unnecessary risk.

What You'll Bring :

6+ years experience with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture concepts and practices.

6+ years experience creating and developing reference architectures, security patterns, and anti-patterns.

Comprehensive knowledge / understanding of securing cloud computing architectures (Azure, AWS and / or Google Cloud Platform) using identities, network and endpoint security controls, data protection, etc.

Industry recognized certifications demonstrating architecture expertise.

Prefer CISSP-ISAAP, SABSA, TOGAF.

Industry recognized certifications demonstrating security expertise :

Prefer CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, SANS / GIAC, Azure security, AWS security.
