The Role
As Lead Product Manager for Vyvx Broadcast Services, you bridge customers and business, combining broadcast industry expertise with strategic product thinking to drive growth and customer success. You work directly with broadcasters, sports leagues, and production companies to design custom transmission solutions, support complex sales cycles, and ensure mission‑critical reliability for live events.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Vyvx services, balancing customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Own product financial performance, including revenue targets (MRR and usage), margin optimization, EBITDA contribution, and identify upsell / cross‑sell opportunities within the installed base.
- Conduct pricing analysis across customer segments and use cases, develop creative commercial models, and maintain competitive positioning while preserving healthy margins.
- Partner with Engineering and Finance on multi‑year infrastructure investment plans, support equipment sourcing strategy, evaluate emerging technologies, and maintain strategic vendor relationships.
- Support product development initiatives using product management best practices, ensuring alignment across business units on priorities, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams on go‑to‑market strategy, sales enablement materials (battle cards, case studies), training programs, and pipeline reviews.
- Create comprehensive business cases for new offerings and capital investments, including market sizing, revenue projections, competitive analysis, and ROI justifications.
- Coordinate with Finance on P&L analysis, pricing approvals, revenue forecasting, and budget planning.
- Partner with Sales Engineers to architect custom solutions, lead technical presentations and RFP responses, translate customer requirements, and negotiate contract terms.
- Act as Voice of the Customer by conducting regular interviews, win / loss analysis, and feedback sessions to inform product strategy and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with Vyvx Operations to optimize service delivery, understand customer issues, and discuss new technologies in industry.
- Represent Vyvx at industry events (e.g., NAB, SVG, IBC), lead customer advisory boards, conduct win / loss analysis and discovery interviews to inform competitive positioning and product strategy.
Required Qualifications
7+ years in product management, pre‑sales, or technical sales in broadcast, media, or telecom.Deep knowledge of live event transmission, sports production workflows, and venue connectivity.Technical background : fiber networks, codecs (JPEG XS, J2K, MPEG), video formats (SDI, ASI, IP / SMPTE 2110).Proven track record supporting complex B2B sales (solution design, RFPs, presentations, contract negotiations).Ability to present to senior executives and broadcast engineers with equal confidence.Experience with pricing strategy, deal structuring, and ROI justification.Experience defining strategy, managing roadmaps, conducting market analysis, and driving cross‑functional execution.Strong business acumen : P&L understanding, financial modeling, data‑driven decision making.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.Preferred Qualifications
MBA or relevant advanced degree.10+ years of related experience.Direct experience with broadcast networks, sports leagues, production companies, or major venues.Familiarity with Vyvx or broadcast transmission solutions.Relevant industry or professional certifications.Compensation
Base salary ranges for this position vary by state. The ranges below reflect national data and may vary based on location and individual factors.
$103,711 – $138,281 in AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.$108,896 – $145,195 in CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.$114,082 – $152,109 in AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.Additional compensation may include short‑term incentives, long‑term incentives, and sales compensation.
