Shift Information - 2-2-3-2 rotating schedule : 7 : 00 AM–7 : 00 PM (day shift) or 7 : 00 PM–7 : 00 AM (night shift)
Initial training period : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM–4 : 00 PM (4–12 weeks)Required Education and Experience - High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in the printing or manufacturing industryExperience with post-press operations and finishing equipmentPreferred Education and Experience - Familiarity with PLC ladder logic
General Requirements - Hands-on experience with electrical controls, pneumatic systems, sensors, labeling and inkjet printers, vision inspection systems, and load / scales systems
Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledgeFamiliarity with industrial safety standards (ANSI, IEEE, UL)Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teamsEssential Functions - Perform preventive and general maintenance on print finishing, post-press, and packaging machinery
Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair mechanical and electrical components to ensure uptimeMaintain and service post-press equipment including binding machines, cutting systems, folding equipment, collating machinery, laminating units, and finishing systemsEnsure proper calibration and alignment of post-press equipmentDiagnose technical issues and install / calibrate parts using manuals and manufacturer instructionsOperate tools including electrical, pneumatic, and hand toolsUse CMMS to document maintenance activities and track repairsInstall and service motors, switches, pumps, relays, transformers, and circuit-breaker panelsWork with schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagramsCommunicate effectively with production teams, management, and vendorsFollow all SOPs, safety protocols (including lock-out / tag-out), and housekeeping standardsSupport production goals and assist with other maintenance duties as neededWorking Conditions - Work performed in a production environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
May involve confined spaces and both indoor and outdoor conditionsPhysical Demands - Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and crawling in tight spaces
