Self Protection Hardware Engineer
This role can be based in Oklahoma City, OK or Tukwila, WA.
Job Description :
- Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements with a focus on self-protection capabilities.
- Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, aircraft certification requirements, and customer specifications.
- Design and develop hardware and interface specifications for the Mission Systems self-protection capability .
- Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met, with a specific focus on self-protection effectiveness.
- Focus on hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Requirements :
- Strong understanding of electronic and electrical system design principles.
- Knowledge of hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes.
- Familiarity with the E-A program and its commercial derivative of the / .
- Proficiency in analyzing and translating complex requirements into practical system designs.
- Experience in testing and validating system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met, with a specific focus on self-protection effectiveness.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide support and troubleshooting for fielded hardware and software.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.cipline.
