Interim Accounting Manager

Our client is looking for an Interim Accounting Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate has strong accounting leadership experience, preferably within the healthcare industry, and can drive operational excellence across all finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, employee reimbursements, and month-end close processes.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Lead the 2025 financial audit, coordinating with auditors and preparing all necessary documentation.

Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

Monitor cash flow, assist with forecasting, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Implement and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Support budgeting and variance analysis, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across accounting and finance operations.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to streamline financial workflows and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.

Experience leading audits, financial close processes, and operational accounting initiatives.
