Payroll Clerk
We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. This Payroll Clerk role is a contract to permanent position, requiring an individual with exceptional attention to detail and expertise in payroll processing. The role involves managing payroll operations for a multi-state workforce, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all tasks.
What you get to do every single day :
- Process weekly payroll for a workforce of 5070 employees using Paychex, ensuring accuracy in timecard collection, hours worked, and pay rates.
- Manage multi-state payroll operations, adhering to varying state regulations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the controller to maintain accurate records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Handle garnishments and other deductions, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Assist in maintaining payroll documentation and preparing necessary reports for auditing purposes.
- Verify employee data and ensure updates are correctly reflected in payroll systems.
- Provide support to employees with payroll-related questions and concerns.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and compliance with legal requirements.
- Work on-site one day per week to perform payroll duties effectively.
Requirements :
Proven experience in payroll processing, including multi-state payroll.Proficiency in using Paychex or similar payroll systems.Knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance requirements.Ability to handle garnishments and other payroll deductions accurately.Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.Excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and deadlines.Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist employees.Availability to work in-office one day per week.Interested candidates should reach out to Matthew Burns at 215.568.4580 and reference JO# 03720-0013335866.
